There's a few different packages with the GT350 -mostly the changes come in level of suspension and track cooling. All the cars get the Flat Plane Crank V8.

I stopped by my local ford dealer this weekend just to look at the one they had on the lot. It was already sold but they are asking 20k over msrp for them, said they got it for the one they had and will look for that for any orders. They also seemed to indicate that they have 17 mustang slots that could be put in for gt350's delivery next summer. Has anyone else seen this markup, seems like you have to be out of your mind to pay 20k over on a car that costs in this case under 60k. These are just the regular models they were talking about.

I checked my local dealer in Milford and was quoted $20k over. Passed and told him I'd take one at MSRP in the future.

I got my name on the next allocation from my Ford dealer @msrp. Would like to hear some real owner feedback on how it carries its weight and if it holds up for a full track weekend without overheating.

Sept 11, picked up Sept 24, dropped off Oct 27 with 6000 miles.
I'm trying, would love a few laps in 350 track pack.
That of course is the big question. But at that price I'll try.
Wait a years and they are all below MSRP I think.
Great news! Would love to see mr Purple at Sebring. "Farmers" old car will be running a lot that weekend. Me in the blue group and a Swedish friend in the red group. His 997cup
is stuck Detroit.
Still hopeful to get a few laps in the gt350. Love the sound of that engine.

The older, now classic, Mustangs always moved me. The styling over the last 15 years or so has never interested me. They do fill a nice gap for their price level which is good for Ford and America. I hope the car lives up to the hype but I would opt for the Vette which may not be too far off in pricing
