With a white car you get a lot of flexibility in terms of what treatments can be applied to it. Think of it like a canvas I'm partial to stripes!

I feel that white cars look best simple and clean as they came from the factory. The GT3 logo is a nice, simple touch - the car already screams Porsche, why the need to advertise it on the wing and windshield is beyond me. And yes white can be a blank canvas but as others have said it starts to look too cluttered. In one of the pictures above there are silver wheels, red stripes, yellow calipers, orange side markers - just too much for my taste - but again, as said, to each their own.
