I posted this in another thread but i suspect that there is some truth to what Michelle told me, while at PCNA, that UV I had was one of thirty that will be produced. I don't know of a more credible source. I guess we will see.

There are definitely more than 30 UV RS produced. Perhaps she was referring to NA cars, but even that seems like somewhat of a stretch as it seems UV caught fire (figuratively ) for post Sept/Oct deliveries. There are what seems to be a couple caught in that insane "elephant in the room" 918 Spyder VIP program flipping and/or insane dealer "bend people over with no lube" markup initiative, and roughly 5-6 RLers that have indicated they have UV cars, and roughly the same or more RLers that are awaiting their UV cars. I have to honestly assume that there are more than 15 non-RLers who have or are awaiting their UV cars.

Don't shoot the messenger. This was Michelle, director of operations, Atlanta. I asked her more than once and she kept to her guns that it is thirty for the world ? Keep in mind those of us that have one may be the majority and all my be on RL.

I was told Austin is getting 2 UV RS's alone. 30 chose purple perhaps before Chris Harris popularized "Mr Purple", but no way now.

I was told as well only around 37 ish UV cars made so far in NA. Worldwide there is more and apparently 70% of RS are Lava Orange obviously based on the press pictures.

I don't think UV will be as valuable as a PTS but it is one of the rarest standard paints.

The person he talked to there was Michele Juzeszyn. She is the Manager of Operations
at the 'Porsche Experience Center - Atlanta', not of PCNA as a whole. Personally, I find
it hard to believe just 30 examples of 'Ultraviolet' will have been built. Below is what I

different 'Ultraviolet' .1 991 gt3 RS delivered or photographed just on this
forum. And we were told that 'Ultraviolet' builds would end this month...
and now reports have come in that PAG is allowing that beautiful color to
be specced on gt3 RSs scheduled to be built into next year!

It's true that they are not common. When I was at the factory last July,
I saw a sea of gt3 RS in 'Lava Orange', 'GT Silver' & 'White'...




but only one 'Ultraviolet'!

One thing for sure, I believe 'Ultraviolet' will be the most iconic color of
the four hues originally offered by Porsche in the .1 991 gt3 RS. It will
eventually command a premium over the other three & rival some PTS
examples in 'value' to enthusiasts & collectors alike!
