If I had room/money for more P cars would like older manuals and newer PDK's for variety. If I have to choose I go manual though.

IMO, never wait to own a GT3; buy a used one now and then sell it when the .2 version comes out. Your financial loss will be minimal at worst, and you won't have to get caught up in the mad rush that each new generation brings when it comes to market. You can wait for the right time to buy the .2 while you continue to enjoy your .1.
