Hi all, I am selling my RS wheel (since I am selling my GT3). For any of you on the fence due to the cost, this is your opportunity to get the RS wheel upgrade for 30% below the Suncoast prices. My FS thread is here: https://rennlist.com/forums/parts-ma...-retrofit.html

I know this is a relatively old thread but, reading it -- it seems to have so many knowledgable members on this subject. I recently got back into the Porsche game with an amazing 2016 Cayman GTS. PDK, Sport Suspension, white. I'll post images when I get on a desktop (iPad uploads always seem post images upside down). Anyway, my only real issue with the car is the steering wheel. It's like the size of a huge dinner plate (I traded in my Lotus Evora S wich has a real good feeling one). As soon as I bought it I started looking into retrofitting a smaller diameter steering wheel. Which led me to this thread. I'm looking into putting a GT3RS wheel on my Cayman.

My questions are:

1. To anyone who has done it -- were there any issues?
2. Was the smaller diameter noticeable? Felt better?
3. How did the car feel dynamically (i.e. Is the car set up for a wheel that size and would that matter with the ecu and electronic steering)?
4. Is the leather rs wheel thicker than the alcantara?

I'm sure I'll have more questions in the future. Thanks to anyone with some answers.

It would be interesting if anyone has an all encompassing list of the differences between a GT3 and a RS. I was not aware that both the steering wheel dimensions and the paddle shift mechanism is different.

Hi. What is the part number of the GT3RS steering wheel that you ordered?
