Sam: Not sure what I'm more impressed with, the car or the matching ultraviolet pit bike.....

Well done.

Good eye, as always. It's the wife's and she bought that bike a few months ago, because of the color The helmet nearly matches but appears very blue in the picture for some reason..

Sick car, love what you've done with it. And even better that you plan on tracking it...just awesome!

What a beauty! How did you get all those mods done in only 4 days? Nice work. Looking forward to some track updates. Best, Allan

I'm drooling Sam! Another question: How is rear visibility with the GMG cage and the wing?

Begging!! As soon as the car was a few days away from port, I called/texted/emailed my SA and mechanic to get them ready. Parts were already there. Truck dropped it off Monday noon, work started on it around 1 PM through 8 PM and the rest the next couple of days. As is frequently the case with new cars, it has been raining for the past 24 hrs...

Good question that I forgot to address earlier. In my GT3, rear visibility (wing and roll bar) was poor and I learnt to use the side mirrors. With the RS, it is way better because the wing is so much higher. The rear view mirror is now useful again. If the standard 991 rear visibility is a 10, the GT3 with roll bar was a 2 and the RS is a 6-7!!
Also, ride compliance around town. The car is not any firmer than the GT3, despite reports to the contrary!!
Higher clearance, compliant ride and better rear visibility than the GT3 make this an absolute gem of a DD, if one is to so choose.

Awesome looker! Was it just a weight savings through the lack of side mufflers that you opted for the race vs. evolution Akra?

Cheers,

Cheers,
Thanks. Weight primarily and having had side muffler deletes before with high flow cats, I knew it wan't going to be all that loud for the neighbors and I do not like the PSE exhaust functionally muffling the sound the first few thousand revs. I have been driving around in my neighborhood at an RPM of 1800-2000 and no one seems to even notice.

Thanks - does the muffling happen irrespective of whether the PSE is on or off during the lowest revs with the standard oem exhaust as well as the evolution Akra?

Cheers,
