Default Received my wheel alignment tool...

Was debating whether or not to get the delrin version, but the OEM won over. This is one fine hunk of German made metal - expensive like the GT3, but the quality is there.

Nice, but I prefer Ed's delrin version and design over the Porsche OEM.

having now done my wheels a couple of times I don't get the need for these at all. It would take me more time to fit it on the hub and take it off 4X than to just hang the wheels on the hub.

Primarily a tool for those with the ceramic brakes. They chip the rotors if not careful.

I have never done this but I suspect that the tool can be very useful with RS:s because of the tight fit of the wheels.

Same here... I find it more time consuming to use the tool. I can see needing to use the tool 100% of the time if you have PCCB and are worried about chipping the rotors.

Ah, with PCCB I can see it; another reason not to have PCCB!

Yeah...I think one could get by without the use of this tool if careful. In my case I am constantly replacing centerlock wheels on various cars at my shop. All it takes is one screw up. Funny thing is the Cup wheels are easier

I think it will come in handy at the track if a wheel needs to come off and most of my track buddies use my tools.

I love PCCB's. It only takes a few seconds to screw in the centering tool and in addition to protecting the rotors it makes things easier on my back. I don't see the problem with using the tool.
