1. It's located in central Texas with sprayed in foam insulation and HVAC, so it should be reasonably comfortable in the winter. Got two 6 ft ceiling fans to help in summer.
2. Got lots of outlets, but not quite that close together.
3. Have a separate mechanical/storage room and plan to for keep compressor in there. Didn't think about running the lines in the walls...good idea. Drywall is up, so too late for that one.
4. Have 240 in three locations (but not in the attic...like the idea of an elevator to move stuff up there!).
5. Water heater is in mechanical room...far away from large bay
6. Several floor drains (not yet visible in the pic).
7. Foundation is 24" minimum thickness. Built the pad under the lift holes to Atlas' specs and have conduit to run hydraulic and electric lines.
8. Stainless utility sink in the garage itself (will be in the middle of cabinets). Half bath off the first bay including a urinal! (tough negotiation with my wife over that one).
I'll post updates as construction progresses.
It sounds like you have thought of everything.
Unless you are running an air dryer, you don’t want your airlines in the walls as they will freeze, leak, etc even in Texas.
You are gonna want to get provisions for A/C, it gets hot.

Performance wise 720 is the fastest thing I’ve ever driven. Blows the doors off anything else. But 488 is more visceral, louder, deeper. No clear winner here. Both amazing cars. 720 turns more heads. No, it literally stops traffic. But 488 has its own charm. If you want the fastest speed demon- get the 720. 488 though is no slouch. It’s an amazing ride. So engaging and fun to drive.

Just requested pricing from AC & Rad Lifts^^ I've had both 2 and 4 post Chinese lifts in my old shop and had no issues in the 10 years owned. Has anyone actually experienced failures with the Chinese made single post drive on lifts ? TIA T

I did a ton of research this summer for a single-post lift and eventually decided on AC Lifts. Went with their M1 6.5 model because I wanted the flexibility of throwing pretty much whatever I wanted on the lift. Their sales and customer service department is top-notch and they kept me updated on the entire build process (yes, they had to build it from scratch). I wasn't able to get a huge discount even though I bought two M1 6.5 lifts at the same time due to the uncertainty of steel tariffs. I love my lifts and it keeps the center bay of our 3-car garage void of any posts/pillars.
Looking into upgrading my garage later this year... Anyone with any contractor/service planing recommendation for the North Scottsdale / Phoenix area? thank you.

Somewhat related question to viewing these amazing garages. Pluses/minuses on using epoxy type paint versus grinding and coating concrete? And yippie I like your cars the best!

I'm a builder/developer in the Gilbert area. PM me and I can tell you the company I used to do the lift in my garage. As for upgrading your garage, I probably can't help you with that. I guess I could, but honestly wouldn't make sense. Most of my work is in Utah and I also build in the Southeast valley. But we don't do small projects. I am building a home in Scottsdale right now (PV area), but only because it's a friend who I have built several big homes for. Most of what we do is 7 figure stuff.
I'm building a detached garage in my back yard right now. 4 car garage wasn't enough and my wife wants the lift out of the main garage. I will definitely be using Porcelain tile on the floor this time. In AZ, it's only about $1-2 per sq ft more than epoxy paint, and quite honestly it holds up better. We have been tiling most of the garages on our custom homes in AZ the last 2-3 years.
Been a little busy the past couple days. Garage is 30x55. Mezannine clearance is 10 ft for trailer to fit. Next is paint, stainless cable rail system, and LVP flooring.
