Plus the way they go under the car it makes it so you have access to the wheels or middle of the car.
I might get one of these instead of the storage lift with the additional components to lift the car. I just like being able to pull right out of the garage and will probably only get a storage lift if I pick up another car for the toy garage. Not in my immediate plans. Do you have a QuickJack, Seth?

Thanks for the tip on the Quickjacks, that looks like the solution I have been looking for. I have been thinking of getting a scissors lift but even a lightweight one is 500 lbs or more which is somewhat portable but a pain in the butt to move.

I think my last picture in here was when they took my fence down to begin construction on the new garage. It took forever with code enforcement, building this thing on a hill with 12' ceilings, but it's finally done (on the outside). Just noticed the original garage doesn't have a keystone above the door but all the front windows/accents have one so it matches perfectly from the road. The red brick did not match, however, so we painted the whole house brick a super-light gray. Would have liked to go bigger, but I'm as close to the property line and my pool in the back as I could without making it look silly or going against code.

No I don't because when I built my house I had a 2 post lift installed. Had I known about these at the time I might have done it differently.

My experience with the Quickjacks was from running with BimmerWorld in CTSCC. They had a set for the F30 BMWs and used them in the paddock at all the races. It made for a lot of the changes to the cars super easy including motor and clutch swaps before the cars were allowed airjacks. The guys on the crew loved them with the height they could get the car off the ground. In talking with all them they really were skeptical at the beginning since it is a scissor type design but they did feel safe underneath the car with the safety locks they have in place. Also in talking with the Quickjacks reps the weight they are rated for is actually higher than what they are labeled.

Igooz, I would suggest looking up RAB lighting, I have commercial grade LED warehouse type lights and they are fantastic, this company has an engineer on site you could submit the plans and they can give you a lighting placement and schedule. My ceiling start at around 12 feet and pitch all the way to 22 feet it's a scissor truss. I have a low, medium and high setting where I can run all of them 1/3 or 2/3. For accent lighting you can use sconches or just some canned lights and put in some nice directional LEDs. I'll try to go there and get a picture for you tonight
