Thank you. It's a remodel/addition. We tore down our old addition that housed the master suite and put in the modern chunk with master suite on garage.

I just pulled a car into the garage for the first time this morning. Such a happy moment after street parking for a year.

very cool and great use of your space/lot. At first I just looked at the images and thought that it sure looked like Austin. Sure enough.....

when the garage is built and cars are in there, i'll be happy to host folks. big part of collecting cars is meeting people and stories behind these cars... and i am seriously thinking of maybe doing an intimate get together of a small number of PTS cars and their owners sometime in early 2017

Sure hope I am lucky enough to be invited to see this this great collection someday. :)

Has anyone in California had a car on a lift during a major earthquake?

I am out of space in the garage and am considering a car lift but I fear what could happen in the event of a big (6.0+) quake. I don't want to damage two cars. Would appreciate any advice. My garage photo is below, from left to right, 991 GT3 RS ('16), 993 C2S ('98), 997 GT3 ('10).

Odds are in your favor. Ill bet 1/2 of the total car lifts in the US are in CA.
