Thanks all.

Nizer, cars in first picture are - CGT, 911R, 997 RS 4.0 (PTS Riviera Blue), 993 GT2, 993 4S (factory Turbo S aero, modified relative to other cars w are mostly stock, a sentimental favorite), 993 RS, 964 Turbo S Leichtbau ("Lightweight"). Other cars, including the Z8 in the second pic and other P cars, are in separate parking.

I took the 993 4S on a spirited drive this weekend, and while some of the newer cars are amazing drives - the CGT, 911R, Ferrari Speciale come to mind - for me, there is just magic in the air called Porsches that is difficult to match.

Or, maybe I am just too chicken to push the newer cars to my limit, as access to a good track very difficult.

Eztrader, here is a "perspective" photo from the car "work" area. So layout is - work area, semi-outdoor car lift, semi-outdoor wash area, parking area, lounge/mancave/bar. Behind the work area are parts storage, and "dirty area" compressor and oversized sink.

A sundeck connects them all.

Here's how it turned out.
Thanks! How's the 'room' inside? feel like plenty (I know, it's never enough) So you're 42' wide...we're looking at 40' for 3 car with 3 separate doors. Can't decide if we should center everything or offset to one side leaving more room on one side than the other.
Threw this together on Excel....not to scale (especially the stairs). just need an idea to give the builder so they can put together real plans. Do you have running water in there?

Interesting. Off topic, but what's the source? I have tried (unsuccessfully) to get a recommendation from bend-pak, direct, etc.

My buddy in norcal has a seismic rated lift and it is bolted to both the floor and the side wall of the structure (both concrete). OTOH its a german mfg which charges 4x the cost of a bend-pak.

Plenty of room in the office, and yes full bath in there too. Lots of storage as well. I use a mini split unit to heat and cool the space. Along with foam under the roof deck, foam in every external wall and insulated garage doors, it's a tight envelope.

I think you should go a couple feet wider and consider the potential of a four car garage. If I had to, I'm guessing I could fit 5 in if I really tried.

Hi Brandon,

Car is lightweight config, so no nav, etc. But the car does have AC as a necessary compromise.

Carlos, just amazing. i can´t see enough of the house and your cars.

the first time i think i saw this garage/house was in a german/austrian (don´t remember well) magazine. "schöner Wohnen" or something like this.
it is absolutly justified that such a house/garage is published all over the world.
or. it were just the cars and another house - more near a jungle... in south or middle america... could it be?

Hi jo-ker,

Probably a different house, am usually a very private person, I do not think the house or cars have appeared anywhere else. But Rennlist is a special place - even over 10 years ago, you would ask a car question, and a RL community member would answer almost immediately, and would usually go out of their way to help. RL has been helpful to me - very good community. So here's hoping for less market value threads, and less my-car-is-better-than-yours thread, and more of the roots of RL - enthusiast sharing their common passion. Some genuinely good people on these forums.
