A close up of the tile going on the floor in the garage. This is the area for the Utility sink and hoses.

Garage is looking awesome, very classy and going to be beautiful when complete. Are you using the Lifmaster 8500 jackshaft openers? Looks like it on the wall.

This was also a concern of mine, I wanted all the doors to match my front door. Because of the size of the doors and that I wanted them fully insulated including double pane privacy glass at the top, I had to go with a full commercial setup and fully custom doors. This allowed me to have them match my front door and all door colors to be the same. The other entry doors will be stained to match the garage doors.

What is hard to tell from the pictures is that the springs are 10" in diameter and almost 4' long, the center door needed 4 of these torsion springs.

I am embarrassed to say how much this door set up cost, because it amounts to what some guys spend on their entire build over on the garage journal forum.

Yes, I have used them in the past and they work great. Because of my torsion spring set up it was not a problem. But, I also added additional manual deadbolt latches which you can put a shackle through for additional security.

Believe me it will, the painter has many days of work still I had originally thought the center support would be powder coated angle iron like the supports for the rail, so I told the painter just paint the pads. When the garage door guys showed me the spring set up, I had to call my contractor to get those center pads put up asap.

I will post up the prints.

I'm braced send me a pm - matching current is silly $ wish I never put them in width got smaller cars make it by less than 2 inches but if it's approved need a like lift door to submit. New doors will be 9 x 9 matching back garage doors anyone doing carriage doors pm me don't want to bore everyone short story PIA!

My guess - it's for scale to go with the main house.

Will have 14' ceilings wanted 16' for multi car lifts.

I will send you a pm on what I ended up doing. But, you are right it was easier to start over by giving away my existing doors.
