(rakes, shovels, bikes, lawn mowers, snow blowers, torpedo heater, trash cans, leaf blowers, weed wackers, gas cans, snow / summer tires, spare lumber, saw horses, etc...) I WISH I had a place for just cars & tools. Where do you guys put all that stuff??
Its called a garden shed. 24 feet wide but only 22 feet deep. Total s**t house mess inside. First warm weekend this coming Spring and it gets organised, lot of stuff gets tossed or ripped out.

Same here. Have a shed for all the tools, etc. Truth be told though, I keep that thing clean and neat as well. OCD never takes a vacation.

OK, given the internal dissent, I will agree to a name change from Garage/Hanger, to Hanger/Garage. Perhaps even more correct, given its real usage is; Hanger/Workshop/Garage. The mezzanine is mostly filled with workshop equipment, primarily wood working (another hobby of mine) but I am stocking it with more metal tools as time goes by. Next on the tool wish list is a smallish vertical milling machine. In my defense, at any given time the building has 4 to 6 vechicles and just 1 lonely aircraft. Granted the Mirage is the biggest, the fastest, and the most expensive toy in the place, but it is simply out numbered, by the 'garage' toys. So I still feel I qualify to post, but with a caveat.

That qualifies... Some people are showing entire buildings, or warehouses.. To me a Hanger is a perfect toy box. Particularly when you have an aircraft in there.. Nice Collection! Enjoy

^^ That's what I'm talking about! LOL ^^

Separate space for cars and junk would be my dream. Having shared space kinda makes me a nervous wreck.

I may need to go this route:

New house is coming along, not much of a garage, but will build a second driveway behind the house with a garage barn and lift

Nice looking house. I have seen some attached garages that can overwhelm a house. I am a fan of keeping any attached garage to scale, in an architectural sense, as you have done. Then putting the BIG toy box else where. My Hanger is about a 10 minute drive from my house, not ideal, but I have learned to live with it. Post more pics when it done.

Hey Billy, nice art and a nice floor. Perhaps it has already been asked, but what product in on the floor?

Agree on the proportionality aspect. My front door is 16' wide, but I think that it doesn't look that out of place.

Anyway, as of today:

It's just your basic gray/black mix of epoxy.3 coat system

Nothing fancy. I do need a car lift installed in the near future.
