Recently bought a house and just finished re-doing the original garage (circa 1940s). Insulated, air conditioned, pine walls, epoxy floors. Lista cabinets coming in the next month.

No kidding. I passed 8 parts the first go around and had to wait 1 year to take the construction document section. Like Mooty, I also got sick as a dog on teh design test. How I passed that part, I'll never know since half the time I was in the bathroom. Now they all have it easy!
Nice work by the way. Beautiful Picture. I mainly do custom homes. www.nicksonder.com They all have garages so not totally OT!:p Architecture has a very high job satisfaction percentage, for those who survive the cycles and stick with it. Nice designs. I put off the ARE for years because I thought it was 90% jumping thru hoops and 10% knowledge...but we all comply eventually.

ARE 10% knowledge is about right, my 2ndary egress stair was a disaster but it got me passed ;-) and i am good a penetrating 4 hour walls (lots of hospitals)
