Beautiful garage, obviously. Please post something about how the second floor cars are moved. I sort of looks like the fall protection is in segments to be moved.

Yeah that's an Interceptor next to the Defender. Down in the too heavy and big to go up to the second floor corner! :)
As mentioned you can just see in the distance of the main shot the car lift which travels the length of the building and lifts car up to the second floor on either side. The railings come out in sections and the posts fold to the floor and you drive on and off. It is a bit of nuisance to do on my own so the second floor cars do get driven less, but I try to rotate what is up top and what is down below throughout the year. For the photos I got them all in order (roughly by age, make etc) and all in the right place but usually it's not so tidy. I need to do some car moving shortly so I will try and remember to take an action shot. |
Is that a Garage? 993Targa - just who are you? What an Amazing Garage. This is total inspiration.
This is something Bruce Wayne would do? don't tell me that you are the real Batman I can't believe that something like this exist in NZ. Wow - completely different corner of the world. When I do get my custom house build (garage comes first), I need to meet your architect. My wife loved your garage pics especially your Benz collection (She is a Benz girl) How do you decide on what to drive each day? Is it completely random or you have a schedule to drive Porsches one week, Benzes next week? etc. I have so many fun interesting questions to ask. |
Is that real??!! FML.

994 Targa - Winner Winner!
You stack cars like my wife stacks shoes. Wait til I show her what's possible. That makes my garage seem much smaller, and therefore reasonable! |

For a moment, I thought the cars were miniatures, and your garage was some kind of book shelf. Nicely done. Call it a museum, not a garage. Congrats.

Every time I see a post on this thread I'm hoping it's "Anonymous" with an update.

I just want to know what is thinking process on which car to drive and when? Is it schedule or random. Yeah, I wonder about funny stuff. Can't wait when I have to make those decisions on choosing on what to drive and when |
