Walls are painted. Swisstrax floors, ceiling fans and lights installed. Saber cabinets are on their way. Almost done.

My new attached garage is finally underway. Living in the communist state of NJ made this project very difficult and 3x the cost I budgeted. At least I was able to go bigger, got a full bathroom and a lot of things approved after winning the fight with my town.

Here are some construction pics and the plan. Sorry about the pics size.

Wow! Impressive to say the least. Seven cars, maybe 14. Now that is a garage.

I have 2 lifts in my existing 3 car and will add another 3 to the new garage. I was able to make a last minute change to the ceiling height taking it from 16' to 20'5".

I have been thinking about putting in Bendpaks 3 car lift in one bay all the way back. Anyone own the 3 car lift?

Will you be heating and cooling the space? What type of system are you going with?

Yeah, Heat/AC in garage, the sim-racing room, and hallway. There will be hot&cold water in both the garage and bathroom so it's essential.

Do to the size of the garage itself 50'x40' (pushed it out a little once we did the excavation) there will be 3 zones, 2 zone minisplit for sim-racing room and hallway and future loft. Separate zone with furnace(gas)/AC only for the garage.

I am in Hunterdon County also, Raritan TWP, up the hill from HMC Hospital.

Sounds amazing. I'm very close to you, Clinton Township north of 78.

Good luck with the project!
