Today and tomorrow is technical inspection for N24:

I met a couple of Audi's and Aston Martin race cars on the regular road on their way to the race track.

They must have warning light on the cars for it to be legal.

Unfortunately I was to slow to get a picture of them.

They put up fences everywhere. Obviously people is resourceful when it comes to find a green spot for their tent.

In this case in the middle of crossing.

Well, I don't like to intrude on people when taking pictures... But yes, I guess some of them where at work today. But amazingly many on place, playing music on their sound systems incredible high, drinking, competing in hammering down nails etc.

As I understand it the big party is on Friday evening/night.

And to add to that: There is nothing going on on track until Thursday morning as far as I know. It is a surreal experience: I walked from Brünchen to Pflanzgarten, I was totally alone, in the middle of a forrest, hearing birds etc. Then after 50 meters someone has built a bar and a scene/disco playing hard techno music very loud. Walked a little more and almost ran into a deer(!).
The deer is captured between the track and the fence they've set up around the track area.
Let us hope that the deer finds a way out before the races begins.

Car being prepared for tomorrow's race: RCN3
Car is a BMW E90 325, Class V4.

Me and co-driver sends out thankful thoughts to the race director for letting us participate tomorrow.

Last race the battery went flat the minutes before formation. This time it was so close to not even getting into the car because of an administrative error.

Let's us hope battery is ok tomorrow

Last race we where class winners. Top 50% would be a victory.

Bummer. Car broke on the first or second lap. Not sure. It is still on the track so I don't know much more then that.

Now: Beer, but for the wrong reason.
