I wasn't at NOS, going there on Thursday - are on a Rhen-Mosel-Alcace trip with family. Gonna do some Ring Taxi for family on Thursday.

Was at the Ring for an evening;
Did 7 laps with my 997.1 GT3.
Haven't driven that car since I got the 991RS: Interesting.
The 997 is pretty aggressive setup with Öhlins dampers so comparing the two cars are not really fair but a couple of things comes to mind:
997: You sit so low in comparison.
997: Much more nervous, even on regular road. On track it moves sideways doing its small "jumps".
997: I could feel how light it was in the front. Still good grip though.
997: Oh yes, I ended up in 6th instead of 4th a couple of times...
997: What a riot it is to drive this car.

Did a really good time with MPSS, heavy wheels and 100+ kg passenger in seat: Funny enough I believe that it is because of the 991RS: I've been carrying more speed at some parts of the track with the 991RS and that benefitted my 997 driving.

One more thing:

FWIW: Maybe just a rumor but during 24h at Spa (this weekend) Porsche is to reveal the "top of the line" GT4 Clubsport. I'm not sure of its name as of now.

The word for that is clunky, some say challenging...
991RS-991GT3-997.2-997.1-996-964RS, the older the lighter, smaller, slower and clunkier. But also fun. I just sold my 964 (RSA - CUP spec) Friday :-)

To drive to the track 991RS FTW.
To not drive to the track, that GT3CSMR looks very delicious.

Not sure if this is old but owing the GT4CS is a bit expensive since Porsche still uses us as Guinea pigs: every update to the CS you'll have to pay for.

Did some laps together with good friend back in May. Haven't had time to edit it until now... Still sorry for the bad edit and bad footage.
