Cool stuff, happy to see you’re still analyzing and scheming in preparation for next years’ race :-)

As we now have the Permit A we decided to actually do a good qualification for the VLN4.
The other races we needed to finish in order to get our Permit A to enable us to drive the N24H.

My co-driver did a great job and we where on p10 in class and p112 in total of 154 cars.

The race itself was dry and we where on used slicks. We ended up on p15 in class and p100 in total.
We where happy with our result as we improved our best lap times.

I did the first stint and had terrific 8 laps with great combats and no big incidents.
Unfortunately the car started to throw errors in the second part of the race and we got low on power.
The clutch also started to misbehave so it was a bit tricky to bring the car back home.

Wife and I had some great TF driving the day after the race. We went for a week in France (Reims, Le Mans, Mont Saint Michel, Saint Malo) and decided to go back to Nürburg for what we was hoping to be another great Sunday,

Big mistake. Wife did three laps from 11:00 to 17:30. Much accidents, some really bad unfortunately.

On the upside we met great friends and got the opportunity to give Ursula Schmitz a bottle of champagne on her 75th birthday. (She is Sabines mother.)

The next race weekend will be great as it is a 6-hour VLN on Saturday the 3rd of August and a RCN race the day after but on Spa(!) - I think this is the first RCN-race on Spa.

The nice V4 BMW hunted me for 5 laps before he gave up and went ionto the pits.

Got a book in the mail from fellow Rennlister CT_Pete- quite a surprise

A nice book about life and race car driving - maybe more about life.

I must say that I really liked it - thanks Peter!
