Default 2014 or 2015?

Hey guys, I am new on this forum but have had many porsches in the past which have all been turbos. I have been out of it for about 5 years and am ready to get back in. I am looking for a 2015 gt3.

Question, is there a difference from 14 to 15?

Thank you.

Essentially there is no difference between 14 and 15. The only issue is that the 2014's had their engines replaced either after delivery or at the factory. Depending on when this occurred, some have lemon (branded) titles. They received an extra year of factory warranty in compensation. This doesn't seem to have affected the resale very much.
Happy hunting. The 991 gt3 is a fantastic car. Take one for a test drive and you will be done

I do advise a 2015 if you can.. Some 2014s have been through a third engine already and it seems the 2015 is a safer bet.

All else being equal (with the exception of the extended warranty), get a 2015.

Less explaining to do if and when it comes resale time.

^^^I agree with ipse, get the 15, less explaining if the time ever comes to resale. By the way, you will absolutely love it.

LWBs available as option only for MY 2015 (and 2016). If you are looking for a car with bucket seats you might narrow your search for 2015s only.

Like others have said, I would go with a 15 if I were you, although if you can find a great deal on a 14 I would consider it. Deciding must have colors/options is next - that can make a difference. Like stated above, LWBs are only on the 15s. Also, finding certain colors can limit your options. Plenty of white ones out there though.

Thank you for all the replies its been very helpful. One other question from an obvious newbie. Does LWB mean light weight buckets?
