COLOR Choice- DBM, SB, LO, JBM--- SMH Color is the hardest -Help
I'd love to see some photos that haven't gotten around. I have DBM selected at the moment. I am open and changeable -
Sapphire is a great jelly bean color. My first choice was PTS mexico blue. I have midnight blue in the 911 Turbo that looks really good IMO- prefer it over black as that is common on the TT. I have Sepang blue on the R8
It's really between DBM and Sapphire as my 2 finalist - if y'all are worried about brake caliper color - it will be red from the factory and most likely stay like that.

I think only you can decide this as it's such an individual choice. But if you want my humble opinion it's gotta be SBM. That being said this car can wear any color and look amazing - even white!!

This car is special. White is EVERYWHERE. DBM is elegant...should a GT3 be elegant? Only you can answer that. Once you're in the driver's seat it won't matter so much

I was digging the not so elegant colors on the PTS scale. I don't think you can go wrong w/ any color. My wife surprised me by saying Sapphire over Dark Blue metallic or Lava or of course her default would be black
Alpine you have the look I have spec currently & it is helping to confirm my selection! I think the stock satin wheels and black trim works well with the car in this color.
Hmm but what about Agate and Black metallic (not a huge flat black fan although it has depth - I don't do flat black.)
Or Lava Orange. Would Lava Orange with Sport Buckets be a good resale option vs a DBM with Adaptive sports everything else being equal?

SBM.
Disclosure: I'm completely biased. Aren't we all!
Honestly you can't go wrong with almost any color. I even saw a gold metallic that I found wasn't as bad as I would've thought (still would never get this color!)
I recall choosing the color as the most difficult part of the whole process. Enjoy it as best you can. Something will tell you what works best.

I just got my DBM '16, really like it. I was torn between Sapphire and this, and think I could have been happy with either. (My SBM build had black wheels which I like better than grey on that shade of blue.) The tipping point for me was how much more popular SBM seems to be (including a few local cars), so wanted something a little different and have always liked dark blue. I considered many others but these were the finalists. I tried to get LO but my production date didn't allow for it, glad it didn't. I have seen two Turbo S and 5 (!) RS in LO and just not a fan. I think you will do well with LO and buckets come resale time given its rarity on a GT3, but it is becoming a more common Porsche color which may lessen the benefit you would get. Here are a couple of shots that may help:

I love my dark blue metallic 2015 GT3 and get a ton of compliments on the color. When I chose the color, I wasn't expecting DBM to be a common color. Wrong! Now there are three 2015 DBM GT3s and just one 2014 black GT3 racing autocross in New England at Devens.
