Default GT3 - TPC Side Muffler Delete

I have reviewed several threads on Rennlist and finally decided to install the TPC side muffler delete option. This retains the factory exhaust valve switch to direct exhaust to the stock rear muffler section. Notice the void where the side mufflers used to be which saves over 40 pounds vs. stock. The sound is incredible and with the switch you can choose the sound to be mild or wild!

Enjoy some quick photos from the install, a quick vid from Thunderhill track day and I'll try to get more videos up soon.

Special Thanks to Alekshop for the install.

Can not wait to here it. I like the idea of retaining the functionality of the valve switch

Do you notice the valves opening/closing when driving around? I've got straight side muffler deletes now and would like to be able to calm it down sometimes.

I use the exhaust button as before, but the difference is the exhaust is now louder in both modes as the side mufflers have been removed. It is nice to retain the stock exhaust to tone it down when desired. This may be exactly what you are wanting.

Not sure about you biglare, but I've had the side muffler delete for over 5k miles and there was some drone in the beginning, about 3k miles ago they seem to have "broken in" and there is absolutely no drone now. My side deletes are Fabspeed with valves and are exceptional!

I've only had the side muffler delete on for less than 500 miles, so I'm thinking that with more miles the slight drone that I have around city driving will start to disappear with more miles.

In my case, I don't think it is the side muffler delete as much as it is putting some miles on the entire exhaust system. I just clicked over 1,000 miles so far. I absolutely love the sound and would highly recommend it for anyone that wants to lose some rear end weight and gain some volume!

I currently run the sharkwerks bypass. How does the side deletes compare to the sharkwerks as far as volume goes?

I like my sharkwerks but sometimes want it louder

I'm not sure how the sound compares as I have not heard the sharkwerks bypass setup in person.

I'm guessing if you have the sharkwerks side muffler bypass, then it will sound very close if not the same as my setup when I have the valves open.

If you have the stock side muffler and the sharkwerks rear bypass section, then I'm not sure how the sound compares.

Hope this helps.

Can you leave the valves closed at high RPM if you want to?
