Sounds like a great trip. Love the GR at the ring!!! Of course they are faster.

You just passed me outside Kelberg at about 4.30 pm 😊 Your car looks gorgeous! There's just something special about red GT-cars! 😉
Enjoy your trip (and the car)!

Hey, that's fun! Was it when we were shooting along at 297 km/h on the autobahn? (stupid traffic held me short of 300... 😔 )

Dr- this is great! I did an ED for my M5 last year and hit the Ring for 3 days and took all Alpine roads. Best 2-weeks of my life.
Im waiting for an allocation now to hopefully do an ED on my GT3.
Question- what is this Porsche travel club you referred to in your first post?

No it was already on the 'Bundesstraße'... You were driving direction Nürburgring and I was driving home (direction Autobahn).
I intended to drive at Spa next wednesday but the new car (991 Cup) is stuck in england as the transporters truck is broken down and I don't have the time to pick it up by myself... 😕

Doc, love this thread! And, your Guards Red GT3 looks awesome (I'm partial to the color myself). I figured that Travel Club tour would be very good in that you would not only drive the car / see the places, but also meet some very like minded people. Congrats on the new car!
