Racing Yellow! I think it looks awesome. I know wher you can get a good deal on a used one Silver is just a more common color and I personally like some that's a bit different.

Our 991 GT3 is Racing Yellow. Before this car we have always had silver or grey sports cars. The Yellow is completely different. Every time I see it, it makes me smile, the color is just fun. Parked in a crowd (whether amongst other Porsches or not) it stands out, separates itself from the more bland or standard colors.

Just before our build locked we went to see a 997 GT3 in GT Silver next to a Cayman S in Racing Yellow. GT Silver is a beautiful, sophisticated silver and as much as I like it, I found myself repeatedly pulled back to the Yellow.

While the 997 Speed Yellow was very mustard, Racing Yellow is more lemon, but not in a weak or washed out way. I have never owned a yellow car of any shade before. At least for Racing Yellow I am a total convert.

This really should be an easy choose.

Do you want to stand out or not? The silver will also be easier to resell as it will have a wider audience.

"The silver will also be easier to resell as it will have a wider audience."

That's BS ...

Default Yellow or GT Silver

I know guys looking that want "anything but" White, Black, and Silver. In that order. Hard to make a blanket statement on the other colors really.

Options, miles, price, and condition are higher on the list.

When I ordered mine I was debating red or GT silver. I went red because a friend weighed in on the decision and said, "it is a fun car, it should be in a fun color". I have two other GT3s in silver (street and Cup) and love silver, but ultimately I have *zero* regrets getting the fun stand-out color for the 991. So if you are okay standing out and yelling for attention when you cruise around, yellow all day. It looks awesome.

Besides, a bright color can cheer up a foggy day...

I agree it's a fun car, get a fun color. Also, while silver will help blend in compared to yellow, the GT3s wing and noise make it stand out more than a regular 911 no matter what color you get. I would also say buy the color you want ultimately, not what the next guy might want. Just my 2 cents.

Either way, if figuring out the color for your GT3 is your biggest problem, your not doing too bad. Congrats and have fun with your car!

I would agree on the fun car/fun color. Yellow or red were my alternate choice to white. I just love white cars.

A friend has a GT3 in yellow with black wheels, it is absolutely stunning. I'm not a yellow car person but after seeing it I could be, much classier and aggressive than I would have thought otherwise.

GT Silver, well, what can anyone say, it's nice and always sensible choice.

I vote yellow, but I'm a bit biased. That's the color I want the most.

I ordered GT Silver. Yellow is too spicy for what I'm looking for.
