Today 22nd we drive to Hockenheim when the car is serviced.
23 Track Hockenheim and drive back to Nurburg
24 Ring track day with Pistenclub drive to L'anneau Du Rhin
25 Track L'anneau Du Rhin drive back to Nurburg
26 Service car again in the morning and do an afternoon only track day at Ring
27 Clean up car, drop off van and trailer and drop off the RS and do museums in Stuttgart

Hi Peter:

You definitely need to have good brakes for Hockenheim. That track is tough on the brakes!

See you there

Peter

New pads, new rotors go on AFTER Hockenheim because I want to see how far I can take them
Doing setup now and waiting for new rear tires to arrive, delayed appearently.

I just checked the Nordschleife trackday on the 24th, with pistenclub, and I was surprised by the noise limit : 100db. To put it in comparison, it's 128 on the 26th.
I will try to come Monday... Better weather and cheaper, hehe!

How many track miles do you have on your RS?
Any pictures of your rotors?

Do we pass 100dB?

I have some 7-10mm little cracks in the rotors.
I'll take pics later.

Maybe 4000 track Km? 14-15 track days roughly.

Peter, if first payment is only now due, hand car back and say you have second thoughts, they will never know how hard those 4k miles were

In theory I would say no, since and I was flagged above at Zolder.
But in another hand it's all about how they measured it...
Maybe it's 100db static...

This noise limit is quite surprising, considering that public days on saturday allow everything...
I guess you have to contact pistenclub to get more information on it!

I want to keep though!
But I wouldn't mind a fresh one from the factory to do it all again, so not keeping any fire extinguishers nearby.
