That's pretty awesome. I know it's just something so small, but its pretty cool!
Peter, Thanks again for taking us on this journey and sharing it with us. Really cool to riding shotgun alongside of you all the way from the US. We appreciate it! Also, I have to say, when I first saw the UV pics, I was less than thrilled. Now that it's grown on me, it just might have taken over as my favorite RS color, at least until the PTS cars start showing up. But the LO deviated stitching is a perfect contrast for the UV exterior. Well done sir! Be safe and I look forward to reading more on tomorrow's adventures! Have fun!

Are you joining the Pistenclub trackday at Dijon? If so we'll get to meet there, I'm participating together with the guys over at Rennteam.

I haven't seen the issue with my GT4 cup2s or the cup2s I use on my M3..much less buildup on those.

Keep running, may not come off until you leave the track. Also, I suggest trying softer damper setting and manual mode (pro told me to leave PDK sport button off in manual mode - don't know if makes a difference, but I followed his advice).

The rubber build up is a a consequence of running just hard enough to get the tires warm and sticky, but not hard enough to roll the rubber off. If this was a track you know, it wouldn't happen.
Looks like a cool, and beautiful day in Germany! Your wife is indeed very brave!!

I would send it to Pirelli. That doesn't look right as there is plenty of tread life left in the tire and it does't appear to be over heated in the picture either. I have seen issues with tires where they will separate at the seams when they are ran at too low of a pressure and abused during this time. Most of this is with full on racing slicks though. Keep us in the loop with what Pirelli says
