Different Sebastian Vittel, I think.

Looks like Ledenon is really nice. I will spend more time tomorrow searching alternatives from hopefully updated calendars.
Also found a Porsche track day at Zandvoort the 4th.

Those two could take be OK in place of Porsche France Nogaro in April.
May 8-14, I had pretty much all planned out, but if I scrap Porsche France event at Val de Vienne and Albi maybe I need to go to UK early, or further south for some combined track days

Will we see you in April Kobalt? Are you doing any of the days with us?

I think so - but to be honest I'm not absolutely sure right now as Peter's plans change from day to day :-)

@Peter: I have not booked yet but I think I'll be in Nürburg 5,6,7 of April too.

Awesome Dave! Long overdue for a ED reunion

SEB74 here on Rennlist that just posted the record time in Paul Ricard in the gt2rs.
P.S. careful with uk and sound restrictions. 991.2 if not careful will get flagged. Get downtips at least or something.

I have SOUL exhaust tips and some tracks rent them.
Hopefully the SOUL ones will be quiet enough

Finally sorted out Nogaro, so all set for April:

April is all locked in.
May mostly, just need to wait for Porsche France to open registration.
I continue to book mystery hotels, we'll see just hoping for safe parking.

When I got my 997GT3 I changed the way I booked hotels: I wanted to stay on hotels on the countryside and with a proper parking at ground level (Google Maps Sateillite View is good for this).
I try to avoid all unknown multilevel parking places.

TRAKCAR 03-18-2019 10:13 AM

^^ That's what I'm doing, looking for big empty parking spaces in the country side wherever possible.

D-day!

After months of planning, finally flying today.
The planning is mostly done and the rest we will be winging it - Time to execute
Mrs TRAKCAR is sitting the first few weeks out, so no adults supervision, just Chris (911rox) who has proven to be an excellent enabler :-)

Landing tomorrow in Stuttgart, one day to get over jet lag get together with Chris, who is flying in from Melbourne again and then go to Zuffenhausen Friday.
Skipping the factory tour, skipping the museum, (i've done it a few times already), no time for that, just snatch the key out of their hands and take of "Gone in 60 seconds" style, straight to the shop near the Ring.
Boes Motorsports will need Friday and Saturday to get my car ready for battle
Setup (I'll ask for Ring setup), RSL1 Pagid Brake pads, SRF brake fluid, Autoquest seat recliner, VBox and get the car wrapped.

Sunday first track day at Bilsterberg. Fingers crossed that the quiet Soul exhaust tips will be quiet enough..

Kobalt 03-27-2019 11:06 AM

Enjoy the flight - it is the only sleep opportunity you will get - rest is driving.

R.Deacon 03-27-2019 11:26 AM

Have a blast! Like many of us, I am looking forward to your updates. Your E/D reports on "Mr. Purple" inspired me to do E/D, and I can't wait to follow this trip!
cheers
