Great trip and eager to follow along via Rennlist.
Just for reference, was at Sebring last weekend in my 1-GT3, typical warm day. MPSC2's don't like >30 psi hot. I started at 22F 21R cold and ran just at 30psi after 3 laps or so. Let out more air as track warmed up in afternoon. I know it's cooler there but I'd try to get in that 30psi sweet spot.
Have fun and congrats!!!

Trakcar, love the thread. Just got back from the 'Ring 3 weeks ago on ED. Your posts make me smile with many good memories. I would love to hear your feedback being that you are a seasoned American driver. Be safe.

Peter, congrats on the car! Like others, I'm doing a vicarious ED via this thread.
I come down in the middle on the tires. I've tried between 29 and 35 psi hot, and anywhere in there seems ok, though lately I'm targeting 33. I concur that the tires get greasy after several hard laps - regardless of the hot pressure - but not so greasy that I want to stop driving. For an R-comp street tire, I find the Sport Cup 2 to be pretty good. I also find the grip to be decent in the wet as long as the tires have ample tread.
If the RS is like the GT3, the harder you drive it, the better it is - though of course work up to it. Have fun!

Peter, Thanks again for taking us on this journey and sharing it with us. Really cool to riding shotgun alongside of you all the way from the US. We appreciate it! Also, I have to say, when I first saw the UV pics, I was less than thrilled. Now that it's grown on me, it just might have taken over as my favorite RS color, at least until the PTS cars start showing up. But the LO deviated stitching is a perfect contrast for the UV exterior. Well done sir! Be safe and I look forward to reading more on tomorrow's adventures! Have fun!

I have huge rubber buildup that I can feel.
Hopefully it comes off.
Quick video from first session Kobalt pulling me along.
Ran one sub 9 second on my own so far and that's about good.
Much faster is risky.
Wifey is cool, has been in the car every lap so far!!
First fillup at almost 500Km
