All this talk about liability, intended purpose of the gt3, and kia's is nonsense. The real issues as I see them are others entirely:

Namely, only do it if you get some kind of LWB type set up, mini-me carbon bucket in the back to match the fronts.. Would be Horrific looking to have regular 911 rear seats in a gt3, everyone at the track and on the soccer run would laugh at you and point. also make sure to match the stitching. Outside of those two points I think this is a very viable solution, I can't believe this option doesn't exist from the factory. You should bring this up with AP for sure, he's an outside the box thinker, I'm sure he'll appreciate this idea.

I'll never have any kids in back of GT3s while driving but when you all solve this problem let me know as my poor 10 year old needs a seat to take a break while I trap her behind LWBs to clean the rear glass!!!

Had my 15 year old daughter sit in the back of a GT3 at the dealer and almost swore that adding a set of belts would do the trick. The rear has a natural contoured carpeted bench seat. I thought to myself. It's even roomier than a standard 991. Than reality hit and a I layed down my deposit on a 991 GTS. Couldn't be happier with my decision. 7 speed Mt with rear seats. I was also second on a list for the gt4 and when the dealer called I reluctantly let it go as well. The truth is that I have a family to consider and sharing the joy of porsche ownership becomes less selfish and more justifiable. My 2cents.
