I waited close to 2 years for mine as well. Ordered it exactly how I wanted it too (except I tried for the PTS Birch Green). Racing Yellow was an awesome back up though and I'm glad I got it. Like bronson7 said, great color and you save a few dollars. Mines up for sale now but not because I have an RS coming. Planned on keeping it longer but life threw us a little curve ball. Put almost 9000 miles in it so it wasn't a garage queen.

Its still not a buyers market but hopefully prices will start going a bit under msrp. I just can't justify spending over msrp for a car i didn't spec out myself. If the perfect one pops up at the right price i might pull the trigger... but it seems that waiting to order a new 991.2 would be the better decision at this time.

I expect them to merge the GT2 + GT3 lines in the 992 generation, but I doubt they'd do that in the 991.2. There's no real need to, and with everyone else going turbo (the 488 Speciale / Scuderia, whenever it comes out), this is one more differentiating factor. Performance might not exceed the 488 Speciale, but the 991.2 GT3 RS will also priced 40% less. NA will give it a more raw, visceral, emotional appeal.

Haven't they stated multiple times (and not just Andreas Preuninger) that through the end of the 991 generation, the GT3 / GT3 RS will remain NA?

Since the 991.2 is still "the same generation" as the 991.1: The 991 Generation.

btw if any .2, changes will be not noticeable (maybe cosmetic
and has to be seen which one is better...)

the 996 and 997 GT3 cars both had significant improvements in the .2 versions. i have no reason to believe porsche would skimp out on the 991.2
