Does disabling ESC disable PTV?

Default Does disabling ESC disable PTV?

Disabling PSM disables PTV in Manual cars, but doesn't disable PTV+ in PDK Cars.

I don't know if it comes that way stock from the factory on the GT4, but you can achieve it aftermarket. No one has the answer on PDK yet unfortunately.

The GT4 has 2 buttons PSM & PSM+TC. they dont say in the book what effect if any it has on the PTV?carl

My mistake its the ESC button does that disable the PTV? carl

It definitely does not disable the PTV.. PTV is an important part of the dynamics of the car... A better question would be if the rear wheel steering is disabled once the ESC is removed.

Same could be said of RWS. You also can't disable it

Porsche Torque Vectoring. Essentially braking the inside rear wheel to help rotate the car (aka cheating )

On the PDK cars, we have Torque Vectoring Plus. It's not just braking, but it's a combination of active differential plus braking.

When first introduced by Nissan RWS was ahead of it's time. Current electronic technology is really able to exploit it's benefits!!
