Burning Brakes
The other cars that beat the GT3's time are all very formidable cars. But the big difference and the thing that makes the GT3 a better car, is it can do that lap after lap after lap. The others not quite so much. So while the Unicorn lap may look better in the other cars, at the end of the day, they'll have to sit out a session or cut one short, while the GT3 keeps going. Sound familiar? Rarely has Porsche won LeMans from the Pole, but at the end of the 24 hours, they've come out on top more times than any other manufacturer. It's not where you start, it's where you finish

Unicorn lap
Ow yeah I forgot gt3 engine blows up and catches fire, which I guess is much worse then heat soaking. You can justify all you want. The fact is the gt3 got its *** handed to it. Any FYI I still want a gt3rs. I just can't believe the amount of porsche cool aid people are drinking me included when it comes to an rs.

The lap by the Z06 is amazing. Period. The article demonstrates an incredible time relative to the competition under controlled testing and definiitvely shows what a great value the Z06 is by comparison to benchmark cars such as the 918.
Dan (thinks there is no love lost for vettes or their owners in this forum-except for a certain Z06 driver who doesn't understand a DE)

The results don't really surprise me.. VIR is primarily a power circuit. All the other cars listed would easily run away from the gt3 on the straights.

Pretty interesting results actually. No surprise about the vette, Im SHOCKED about the Huracan being quicker than the gt3 though...I definitely think mine's fast but not as fast as the Gt3 when there are corners involved...even on a power oriented track. Either way works for me...

The shocker for me was the C63....a couple seconds faster than an F80 M3. And 6+ seconds faster than the old E90. Wow.
But I don't put much stock in their times if there is not a Pro in the driver's seat. It's not easy to drive a 911, even the 991, compared to other cars. It takes more than an afternoon to extract the full potential - it took me over 2 years in the 997, and I'm still not that fast.
