My understanding is you can order the front extension section, but not the OEM rear half cage.

The GT2RS-style gusset option looks cool. I’m not a fan of the regular round hole gusset option. I also like the clean look of no gussets.

I'm going with Competition Motorsports. Seems like a great option all round.

Why not skip the bull**** do nothing roll bars and get the full manthey one, FIA approved, very oem like design, has removable front extensions and actually protects rather than pose and add weight?

I wasn't aware the Manthey roll bar weighs 0lbs. I'll check it out--thanks for the recommendation.

Seems our major bar suppliers GMG and BBi don't follow it.
Our horizontal bar placement for the harness mount follows the GT3 Cup Car design and so there is no right or wrong answer. Schroth does recommend crossing the belts if the distance from the seat openings to the mounting bolt point or harness bar exceeds 450 mm [18”] and the distance from our rear horizontal bar to the back of the seat is about 15” depending on the seat position.

“If the shoulder belt mounting point is more than 8” [200 mm] from the seatback, bring the mounting points closer together, touching - or crossing if greater than 20” [500 mm] from the seatback, creating a 20° to 25° angle behind the user’s head.”

Schroth's website "guidelines" are not realistic. The GT3 Cup cars and GT3R are homolugated with much more than 8" of belt at the backs of the seats. In fact, most race cars with FIA homolugation safety standards have more than 8 inches from the back of the seat to the harness bar's in their roll cages.
