fair question. Well from weight savings aspect YES!!!!!
I think it fair to say back pressure is reduced over stocker so I'd imagine there would be gains. The only issue I see is that the mirror to admire it with your P buddies, wont fit in the frunk!!!

Wow, thank you for posting this Nick! I woke up to a "Google alert" in my inbox giving me a link to this; what a great way to wake up
I figured I would post in this thread, because I am not a vendor, I won't get all "sales-ey", but a few of you guys probably know me. I was with another local company for 5-6 years that does similar work and a few months ago decided to venture out on my own. We make all our our product out of CP2 .030-.040 wall titanium tubing, but also offer our systems out of Inconel and 321 (and can make them in 304ss if the customer really wants it). Our business model is pretty simple "offer 100% in house, handmade products from the absolute best quality materials available, at a reasonable price". All of our tubing is from a company called RMI out of Ohio, and our Flat stock (for flanges) is 6AL form a company in San Diego called Performance Titanium. We do our very best (and so far have been 100% successful) keeping the entire process in country, and plan to continue to.
As for how many, and which nuts you have to give up... You would be surprised at how we price our systems. We are actually pretty competitively priced with a few of the stainless systems on the market. Admittedly we have much lower overhead, with it just being me, my fabricator and some part time help for him in our 3000sq/ft facility, but why not pass on the ability to price ourselves better for our customers while we can? Mike (my fabricator) and I are on the same page... If we can make a decent living while offering an awesome product, have happy customers, and have a ton of fun at our jobs, consider us both happy.
The black GT3 Nick posted above actually won the peoples choice award at the recent "Supercars on State Street" show in Harrisburg a couple weeks back. That system was made from 321, but the car should be coming back over the winter to have the entire thing (headers and all) redone from Titanium.
Lastly, we did not dyno the Turbo-S unfortunately, however based on what other systems with similar designs and diameter tubing are making, it should be a 25-30hp gain, and like Nick said, the weight savings are absolutely amazing (saving nearly 50lb off the back of the car). We also fully back purge all of our welding (titanium, stainless, inconcel, etc), so the metal will hypothetically fail long before any of our welds do. To put it in perspective, a lot of shops get away with one 330ft Argon bottle every few weeks, welding regularly... We go through THREE, 330ft bottles of pure argon for EVERY system. It's expensive, but we just consider it an added safety net.

absolutely, the headers we have designed are from 321 (which is basically a mix of titanium and stainless), and we offer them out of Inconel. We have a purge chamber on order but until that comes in we can not do the actual manifolds out Titanium without the risk of them cracking, which isn't a risk I would want to take. one of the beautiful things about what we do, is that while we do manufacture products to sell and ship worldwide, we are just as happy doing completely one off setups for local guys who want to bring their cars in to us (we are fully insured of course with all of the necessary equipment to do just about anything you could want.
The car below is a 50k original mile 993, the car is currently at paint getting a full Acid Green (918 caliper color) respray, then a full RWB widebody kit. The owner wanted something unique done with the exhaust that nobody else would have, so we made this for him. It's coming back over the winter for long tube 321 headers, we were trying to fit them in when it was here for the x-pipe but ran out of time with his pain appointment.
So what I am saying is yes, we offer the tips in a more traditional slash cut round style. I went with these because the owner is a big muscle car guy and they sort of reminded us of throw back Le Mans car exhaust for some reason, and he loved them.
the 991 system held up with one finger!
