My local dealership and I would guess most others aren't really objective when it comes to tech inspections and rotors. They just want to sell you new ones.
I've had rotors look worse than that after three-four days.

C2Spin,
assuming no other issues from your pics , I suggest you find a PCA independent TECH inspections
shop , I believe your good to go for quite few laps yet on those rotors , like 50% done now .
Have fun

Looks like they are applying the Porsche textbook 7mm crack reasoning... Those look pretty good for a few more days... Just monitor for cracks running towards edges or those looking to meet up with other cracks.
I pulled mine off a little prematurely and at that point they had cracks 10-12mm long...

Brembo, which makes the rotors for these cars, uses a two dimple system which allows you visually inspect the rotor wear. You will always see two dimples near each other. When the first dimple disappears it indicates 80% of the usable disc surface has been worn. The second hole is drilled .2mm less deep than the minimum thickness of the disc. When it disappears, it is time to change the disc. This really helps when you have to undergo tech inspections at the track and the discs can be visually checked out.
That said, you should always measure them in order to get an idea of how many brake pad sets you can run through a set of rotors.

Here are a few pics, sorry for not so great quality. Embarrassed to say I do not have a measure thickness so cannot supply that info. The first two pics are from front right and the next three from front left. I see very small cracks in a few places, but overall looks pretty good to this novice's (from mechanical perspective) eyes.
Thoughts? I plan on challenging the SA at Porsche about this on Monday. I do trust them and they've done good by me over the years, but if I am going to be replacing rotors every 9 track days, this boy is going to learn to become a mechanic real quick.

Forget about replacing rotors? That's too obvious and hopefully, fellow RL'ers have convinced you they don't replacing.
Given the number of track days you've run, coupled with the condition of the rotors I think you should work on higher threshold braking. You're car has a LOT more in it and I might respectfully suggest you're not coming close to this car's capacity

Thanks everyone for the valuable feedback. I will have a conversation with SA tomorrow and let you know the outcome, and based on recommendations I plan to say 'no' push back on rotor replacement unless they can show me something not visible in the pictures I shared.
est8esg: yeah, you're probably accurate in your assessment - higher threshold breaking. Something I plan to work on at the next event. Go in deeper and harder......that's what she said.

Forget the rule of little cracks from holo to hole to to the rotor edge means it needs replacing. Maybe that's when you order a spare set for backup.
Only when it cracks THROUGH you need new ones and even on those I have finished many weekends.

while on the subject
how about these cracks, do you think the rotors have more life?
they are PFC front rotors in 34mm spec for a 997.2 GT3 RS and I used PFC 08 pads. This is after 10-12 track days.
There're no crack going to the edge.

Burning Brakes
I replaced OEM brake fluid with Castrol SRF. Replaced OEM Pads for first time @ 10,000 miles - 16 track days. Surprise: Fronts showed only 40% wear - 60% thickness remaining. BTW, Porsche advises new pads require new Caliper Bolts on our brakes. Makes certain your shop has them in stock before replacing.
At 11,000 miles Steering Judder under braking started. Front Rotors measurements showed excessive runout. Replaced Front Rotors only @ 11,000 Miles ($2,500) due to runout. Front rotors also showed cracks (as most all Porsche Front Rotors do) Rear rotors looked fine with no cracks. Solved the problem. I replaced with Porsche OEM pads and Rotors as I'm satisfied with their performance.

They could look like that after just 4 hard, hot days. I'd guess they are at 50%. Just cool them after the session and they might last another 10 days.. Off course it can take only 1 red flag to crack them..

They are now at 32.5mm at the lowest

The discs need to be replaced only when the cracks actually reach the ID or OD of the disc. I would pull the discs off the car and check the inboard sides of the discs. The inboard disc temps can sometimes be hotter during track use and there could be cracks that could compromise the disc.
