Default Caliper Stud Kit

I'm one of the peons from the GT4 forum and thought I'd stick my head into the inner sanctum. Given that I'm planning on doing my own brake pad changes and am completely up to date on Orthojoe's track build journal, I decided to investigate the caliper stud kit from Tarret.

The good news, at least for us GT4 owners, is that the stud sizing is the same as yours. I've been talking to Ira about a group buy which would save us quite a bit over list. We're still ironing out the details but if you're interested, send me a PM and I'll bring you up to speed (so to speak).

We're over 12 people already, so this is gaining some traction.

Thanks GTEE3. Has anyone installed this kit with PCCB brakes? It would be nice to get confirmation that the studs are the same size. Also, I would think that the GT3 RS brakes are the same as the GT3, but can anyone confirm?

I'd be interested in a group buy for tarrett studs, my GT3 has big reds.

Other than the color, as far as I know the GT3 calipers are the same for steel and PCCB rotors.

Okay everyone, the group buy is a go and we've had over 30 people express interest. Head on over to the group buy page and place your orders (pricing information is there). Once they have 20 confirmed orders, they'll start shipping. It should run for 3 weeks. Thanks to all for making this possible.

Thanks everyone. I've created a detailed installation thread over in the GT4 forum. The fronts are the same and, even if the rear caliper install is slightly different, I think there's enough detail to be of help (and a warning about a possible issue).
