Hi guys,

Just picked up a white on of these (birthday gift to me from the missus -my b'day is the auspicious date of 11 Sept!).

Thought others might be interested as till now only Guards Red have been available. These are limited pieces (Yellow and White = 300 pieces world wide and Agate is 1,002 pieces). I don't think they will be released in USA...

No association etc. Awaiting mine to arrive but pretty sure Ill love it...

Thanks for the heads up, kinda pricey for a desk toy but a matching Racing Yellow one is on the way.

Ryan. I felt the same way....but it had to be done! Ive been waiting for a white one to be produced and with a limited run of 300 pieces world wide (like the yellow) I knew if I didnt buy it Id regret it. I have a moderate collection (100+ x 1:18 x 911s) and I have found with limited runs like this, not unlike the car, you will unlikely loose money if you resell it assuming its been looked after in a class box on your desk etc. Infact a number of my model have doubled in value over what I paid for them over the years...

I ordered the white one from the same link you provided on August 6. After almost a week and nothing from the seller, I emailed him. He magically listed a tracking number. Then after a few more days, after the item still hadn't shipped, I emailed again. The guy said that he was out of town and asked someone to ship it. A couple days later he tells me that he doesn't have the item and he's sorry.

I then placed an order with another seller. They emailed me after I had paid saying it was a preorder and they expect it in later this month or next. I told them nothing in their listing said that and was rather upset esp. in light of the previous seller.

I anticipate more white ones popping up in the near future.

Just gotta be careful with these guys from China.

I went to look for a 1:18 scale and it looks like minichamps are the only ones making this scale for our car?

Anyone know why?

I try and keep a model of my cars and honestly don't care who makes them, I'm not a collector. I just want the replica, but don't want to spend stupid money on a model?

I just purchased a cheap replica of a Ferrari for $35. Geez.

Thanks for the feedback. Worth bearing in mind. I received a shipping notification with tracking number from the vendor today. Interestingly it looks like I purchased the item on 01 August so that is slow service. On the bright side I checked out the sellers feedback and its 100% good including another 991 GT3 1:18 he shipped to a US buyer a week before me - so its seems he might be a bit slow (Probably orders them on the local distributor only onec he has made a sale on ebay!) but I don't mind waiting. Paypal does an excellent job of protecting the buyer as long as the seller has some prior trades etc. I feel comfortable it will arrive. I will update everyone when my model arrives...

I got my White GT3 last week. It took about 4 weeks. I'm in Ontario Canada.

Thanks John. Mine has now been sent and will take 2 weeks so 4 weeks all up. I emailed them and they told me the one they received to send me was missing a light so they had to re order one and then send it hence the delay. They have 100% feedback over 50 trades including 2 other GT3 in white now received by owners and its covered by Paypal so I dont see any issue. Cant wait for it to arrive. I live in a different country than my GT3 so will be a nice reminder of what i have sitting awaiting my visits 3-4 x a year for track days and driving :-)

White is now available from ck-modelcars in Germany for $110, not $180 like the Chinese retailer...
Ck-Modelcars is a very big, well known retailer
I have purchased from them before with great service no issues
