Pre-Delivery Inspection of my GT3RS
I picked the launch color "Lava Orange" along with the standard color "Grey/Titanium" wheels.
Car manufacturers pick the best color combination based on study and pre-initial polls they conducted before launch.

bronson7 comment is on point. Since I chose the standard wheel color Grey/Titanium rims, I also took the silver LED instead of the blacked out LED. The silver LED complements the silver Daylight Running Lights. This way the color symmetry lines up really well.

For me black wheels with PCCB and black LED lights are just perfect for the 991RS! 
The black wheels look good with the black louvers, rear decklid and aero parts. It won't be looking over wheeled too at the back if the wheels are black.

Agree this looks great. Although I do think the silver in this thread looks good too, and will be different. Choices! All the wheels look great on lava. Makes things more difficult when ordering!

I did order black wheels, although i really liked the matte silver paint on my gt3, i really do not know if i will stay with the black wheels or i will paint them like the gt3, maybe i will wait some time to see if the black starts to fade... In the other hand i really think LO with black wheels and pccb's make the car even more "racing look" than with the standard grey.

it looks sharp... but does hide the wheel design and makes the car look like a bit of a hovercraft, since tires and wheel wells are also black... think I am probably going this direction anyways, but I can see the downside that some speak of...
