I have these on my Nogaro Blue RS7 including black emblems and they're perfect. Definitely OEM parts and I haven't had any issues with the paint quality. TAG is a spot-on company to deal with and hopefully I'll hitting up Alex to order some in Agate Gray within the next few days. ;-)
Thanks for the order!
We haven't written a specific instruction set for these but if you (or an installer) have any questions, you can always call me (760-741-9300) or email me (neema@tagmotorsports.com) and I can answer any questions you may have.

I recieved my painted reflectors today, and installed....I called TAG for install tips and they said put tape around edges and use non maring trim tool to work it out....thats definitely not the solution...i tried and tried....so here is the real world install tutorial....tape up the edges, sliding tape back and fouth as to get under the reflector.....take a 1/4 in drill bit and slowly drill holes into it.....you will feel it go thru the lens then slowly make your way thru the black backing ....I used a metel scribe tool that was hooked at the end, when inserting make sure you go thru both layers, then pull the holy hell out of it!

Trust me, its the only way....the retainers are barbed, there is no simply pry and remove....unless you remove the cover and squeeze the barbs from behind, this is the way to do.... obviously, the oe reflectors are trashed....but who cares....anyway, thats my $.02

If you pry from any other angle, you won't be able to get it out. We didn't include installation instructions with this set as we recommend professional installation (or contacting us) so I apologize that we weren't able to convey the instructions to you accurately, that is our fault.
I have to say, your method is actually pretty great. If you do ever need to replace the original reflectors, they're very cheap and readily available...certainly a lot better than risking damage to the bumper/paint!
Yes, I had never done the installation myself and I wanted to post our shop foreman's recommended method to clear up any further confusion.

I believe there may have been a miscommunication about the removal method, I just sat down with our shop foreman who has removed and installed these personally and luckily we have another set I could hold in my hands to verify his method. You can get them out by prying from outside BUT this only works if you pry on the outer edge (looking at the reflectors from behind the car, pry from the furthest left side of the left reflector and the furthest right side of the right reflector towards the center of the car). This will release the pressure on the barb and then allow you to pull the reflector out.

No appology needed....i enjoy diy projects and figuring things out if it doesnt go as planned....either way you choose to remove other than having the bumper off and squeezing the barbs in my opinion will trash the oe reflector....but who cares, they do not belong on car anyway!
