I don't think your math is right. The Canadian dollar is 31% less than the US dollar. So a 200k CAD car converts to 152k US (but you'll have to add 2.5% to that). That's still a good chunk less than base MSRP of a US car. But as an American, you'd have to buy a second hand car, dealers here won't sell directly to Americans.

Maybe my explanation wasn't that clear, but I think we're saying the same thing. Bottom line, difference in MSRP = $23K USD.
