Pressures to high. Start at 30 and bleed back down to 30 at each stop. Don't forget to bring them back up to 30 cold, after your done and they are cold. Also, tire grip is probably down 30% from new. Need to replace. Best, Allan

Lodi, I remember during the smokies we were around 36 with a few times hitting 38. I believe I remember you letting a tad out at a stop cause you were hitting 38. I'm guessing that was your problem this time. Otherwise the tires are just toast. Do you track your car a lot? I was told you can't heat cycle on public roads. That it takes track temps to get a cycle but I think the smokies drive got a few heat cycles.

I guess it's a circular issue as I felt the need to keep up, which then gave you no choice but to go because you felt you were being pushed...i guess you might call that a win win situation.
