Are people burning through any on the track assuming no leaks or thermostat issues? Is it a 50/50 mix with distilled water? Sorry for my noobness.

A true track car should run distilled water and Water Wetter.

A daily driver should run Porsche coolant and distilled water.

There shouldn't be any coolant lose on a normal operation. Small top ups and adjustments can be done with just distilled water.

Some people run VW coolant to save a few bucks.

The pink stuff is it. Used to be Gatorade green back in the 996 and perhaps 997 era...50/50 mix

Anyone know the boiling point difference between distilled/water wetter and distilled/antifreeze? What's the risk of overheating with distilled and water wetter if stuck in traffic on the way to the track?

My guess, the wetter raises the boiling point but has no effect below 32 degrees to keep the water from freezing.

Porsche spec for my 996 GT3 Cup is one gallon of Porsche anti freeze and the rest distilled water, fwiw.

Looks like the boiling point drops by about 15F, but removes heat faster. No help in freezing temps, but better for track.
