OT: Only LaFerrari for sale second hand $5AMM!
Naples Motor Sports Florida has the only second hand, at the moment, for sale in the USA. It is being offered for the low low price of $5 Million.
Just one question, thing they are smoking the finest Crack Cocaine down in Florida?
I understand economic, micro and macro, and being the only example on the market they may charge what they want. What I really, really want to know is how much money did the original owner make on selling this car to Naples? Sure hope he/she at lease doubled their money.
The LaFerrari isn't worth as much as an McLaren not by a long shot.

You're not touching a McLaren F1 for 5MM. That car has been for sale for a while. You'd be surprised at the amount that some have traded hands for already. Lots of people asking 5MM and getting 3.5MM.

Saw a mint F1 earlier this year - value was expected to be $25m to $30m but it wasn't for sale.

$3.5MM is still WAY too much for a LaFerrari - sure if you're some type of D ! K C Hedge Fund Manager who thinks "he who dies with the most money and possesions" Wins are more than happy to loose that much money over actual value of the car then fine. They can just make up the premium in a few hours.

I have seen one in the flesh. It's awesome. 5 million? Do you have it and want it? everything is relative.

Some people literally have billions of dollars of disposable income. Why would they care how much they spent on something they want right now

I don't know if I ever made that much money I would certainly start and endow money to charities.
Bill Gates is only giving each of his Children on $10 Million when he passes. I say only because we all know how much he is worth. Giving the rest to the Bill and Malinda gates foundation and other c harities.

See the LaFerrari in person...it's an incredibly impressive car. More so than the P1, Veryron, 918 or the Huayra (Huayra looks like a racecar - I love it but its not clean and simple like the Ferrari)...it just looks super, super exotic.

It's only worth as much as someone is willing to pay. Beauty of the free market. Others pay 50-100 million for a piece of canvas with paint on it.
I'd rather have a car ..

The car likely won't sell at $5m. LaF's have been trading hands privately in the $3m - $3.5m range.
Naples bought it for around $3m, though, I believe, from someone who bought it from Steve Wynn (yes, that Wynn) with the sole purpose of flipping. Wynn can do whatever he wants, Ferrari won't touch him.
Until Naples decides they want to part with it for a more "market" price, this is drawing a ton of attention for them. Brilliant marketing ploy.
