I believe I've outdone myself. Went to the track yesterday, and forgot my cardboard thingy. Tried tracking the car for the first time without a diffuser and the buffeting was horrible above ~115 mph. Didn't want the day to be ruined, so I improvised and came up with this (rolled-up paper towel + duct tape):

Well under $1 in materials, 2 minutes of labor. Worked perfectly, thought durability might not be great after it rains.

Manifold, you are a "die hard." You crack me up.

K, I have the orders in production. Going to run 25 for this first set. Machine shop is giving me more info than I need about drilling a hole for the powder coating process and price vs. welding, blah, blah, blah... Hope to get in a week. This first run is going to be under $50 (bought a roll of bubble paper to ship), then add whatever shipping costs.

Thank you all for you interest. In the spirit of cooperation, I'd like to ship out to as many of you as I can these this first run, so for those that wanted more than one set, please allow me to fill as many single sets for everyone out there as I can?

Thinking through this, PM me w/ mailing addresses and I'll provide my email address for paypal.

If anyone is overseas, let me know how you'd like it shipped as I've never done this before, so your suggestions would be appreciated.

Please don't drill a hole! I think that would impact the looks too much.

Here is another option that comes with tape, very impressed. I just searched 991 wind buffeting and found these at blackmill performance online. Got them in 2 days, thank you!

Default Sorry for delay

Gentlemen-

I spoke to my manufacturer yesterday afternoon and their press is down. They had their tech working on it as I called.

They didn't know what it was at the time of my call, but "worse case" they indicated it may need a board shipped from Japan? If it is that, I was told it would take "about a week" for the machine to be up and running.

(Cam sensors, thermostats, engine replacements, trans replacements and now a stupid machine for a part for the car going down? For the beauty of its creation, I think law of nature has to create these idiosyncrasies to neutralize the unbelievable performance? No other explanation).

Thanks all for your PM's. I've got you all saved and will get them shipped out as soon as I get them in.

Stand by...
