Am picking the car up in Zuffenhausen Sep 2.

Trip is:
Sept 3-6 Zell am See for the Porsche international Tage, and will rally it there.
Sept 7-10 Innsbruck-Dresden-Rothenburg
Sept11-14 Hamburg for an event
Sept 15-17 Nurburgring
Sept 18 Sachsenring
Sept 19-21 Berlin
Sept 22 Back to Zuffenhausen


I would guess total Kms will be in the 5,000 range based on my previous EDs.

Question is: when to change the oil?..Thinking maybe Hamburg just prior to tracking events. Any advice would be appreciated.

I'd do the oil change after the track.

Porsche engineers have taken break in into account.
The first 1000km most important to break in cam shafts

Thanks I will prob do between Ring and Sachsenring as its only half a day at Sechsenring, and then road driving.

I'm a weird one. If you've done a bit of driving beforehand, especially pre-breakin, I'd change the oil before tracking, and then again after tracking.

Changing oil is the cheapest thing you can do to protect the most expensive part of your car.

I wait my RS and when i have 5000 km i change for castrol RS 10/60 the best oil for this engine
