Default Bought myself a toy

After doing the DE last week at NJMP with my son running a VW GTI I decided we needed more of a race car. So my mentor Bill Rudtner is building us a Spec Boxster which we will use at the track in addition to the GT3. Will post pics once it is ready.

Sweet! This is my plan also. Hone skills and an ability to rebuild after a wreck...let us know how it turns out.

Great plan! I run my GT3 once in a while but play hard in a SPB. They are 2 different platforms and require slightly different approaches to driving at or near the limit but it's an extremely rewarding combo. My SPB is in the paint and wrap shop this month so I've been running the GT3 more lately. My personal experience has been the better driver you become the harder you push which makes the need for the proper safety gear and full cage that much more important. I drive my GT3 at 8/10 max whereas I drive my SPB at 10/10 in a race mindset every time I go out.
