Interesting....

This guy is a broker who works with the dealer....they split the $100K (not sure the split)....

Even more interesting....these are 918 owners who have given up their car and are obviosly profiting from the sale....the Lava Orange is already under contract but there are 2 more PTS GT3 RS's incoming according to him.....

A quick google search shows his name is [removed]

I thought the 918 guys have to sit on them for 6 months before they can be sold...

More proof that there are people out there with more money than brains. At $100k over I can see A LOT of guys who got the car at MSRP willing to sell it.

Not sure....here's my email to PCNA....

Lisa....I had spoken to you in the past regarding the guy selling his spot for the GT4 out in Cali....I thought you might find this interesting....

[removed by request]....His name is (removed)...[removed by request]

He states he is an independant broker....the $100K is split between him and the dealer.....the cars being sold are 918 owners cars who take some of the profit.....the LO car is already under contract and he has 2 more incoming PTS cars that are available for the same arrangement....he would not give me the name of the dealer....I find it interesting that 918 owners are able to order cars and not take delivery but instead flip for a profit....thought you might be interested....Eric

They have dealers selling GT3's for 50K over sticker out in the open (with their blessing). Good luck there! You think they really care about 918 owners flipping cars?

They had to throw out all these bones to move the 918's to start. You think they're going to **** off guys who buy million dollar cars?

No but the VIP program was pretty specific on how it worked.....

I wish it was more transparent like Ferrari....buy a car....drive it a few months....sell it back and make some money....this just rubs me the wrong way....

I'm with you and it's irritating. I just know nothing will be done. Like I said, look at the new GT3 allocations.

Back to work for me now. Trying to make that extra 100K by end of the day!

It's funny things like this. There are companies/brands that are ok with stuff like this and there are companies that simply have the ***** to enforce and have always enforced. All depends on integrity of the ownership. I work for a couple of brands that enforce MAP and dealer agreements etc. Even shut dealers down if they don't adhere. Been like that since day one. For all of the great things Porsche does engineering/brand wise they sure are greasy in these areas. This has bad Karma written all over it.

Have you read the PCNA dealer franchise agreement? A summer intern could have done a better job of protecting brand value. The only obvious obligation to buy cars according to the PCNA price schedule.
