Yep, you RL guys really are appreciated! My dealer needs to make a profit I know, but $10k under MSRP was kinda insulting. It's a good bet they would have sold it a good bit over MSRP.

My car SOLD this morning at MSRP and I ate the Expel. Seemed fair to me and the buyer is getting a good deal too and a perfect car. Wouldn't dare ask over list to a fellow Rennlister!!!Regretting not hearing the sound this awesome car makes at 9000 RPM. So I've read anyway.....never made it to 2000 miles.

Good question! Everything I want is such a long wait and once you get an allocation (if) the real wait just begins again...............

Dealer offer 132K

Owner sold for 139K (sticker)

Not like the dealer was going to give him sticker price, only to turn around and sell it for the same price and make zero $$$ profit.

Actually, dealer offered $130k. Dealer never really offered the $132K. He said he "might" be able to go to $132 to compensate me for the Xpel but he would need permission from higher ups. So, the offer was $10k under MSRP. I would expect him to at least sell it for MSRP Plus the cost of the Xpel, so a likely potential of $12-15K profit and they'll charge a couple hundred for the doc fees and a quick turn. Remember he got me on the initial sale too. Good if you can get it....he didn't in this case.

Congrats, that's got to feel like a small win.

You made enough on the difference to get a Ducati Scrambler, Di2 Speedvagen, vintage GMT or a trip to chase permit in Belize...at least that how my brain works. It's not how much you saved, but how to rationalize swag money use.

One fallacy here - dealers give zero value to Xpel, window tint, ect that you added. They would actually prefer you didn't have that stuff. Then they can try to sell it to the new owner at a significant upcharge. The finance officer who offers all those 'extras' is just a thinly disguised salesperson.

Well said. You will get nothing for clearbras on trade in. Most of the time they just pull of average mannheim auction prices and low ball you from there.
