I am thinking about getting an enclosed trailer to be pulled by my 2016 Range Rover Supercharged. Besides Trailex, does anyone recommend Aerovault? I see their ad in Pano.

There was an Aerovault trailer at Parade, but I only got a brief look at it. Very nice but considerably more than the Trailex and I don't believe it has the large side door. That may not mean much until you try and get in and out of the car when it is in the trailer. The Trailex side door allow you to open your car door all the way ( yes even on a lower car) and step in or out. Additionally since the side door swings up you get in and out under cover should it be raining. There may be other excellent trailers but having used the trailer for some years it is hard to beat. From looking at the specs it is also slightly lighter than even the Aerovault.

Thanks F4. The low profile enclosed Trailex does appear to be the best option. Unfortunately, I am limited by the Range Rover and would have preferred a f350 dually which I had before for towing. The only downside that I see with a Trailex is no room for a golf cart or other paddock vehicle!

Default Trailer for GT3

I have a 24' ATC closed trailer. I tow it with an F150 eco boost engine. Plenty of power ans a Perfect match.

Golf car no, however there may be room for a pit bike. As for towing with the Range Rover, I don't know what their capability is but I have towed my Trailex cross country with both my previous Cayenne S and my current Cayenne diesel with not even a hint of to little power

Thanks F4. I'm not worried about power but more about the stability of the SUV chassis. It is likely not a problem as the RR has a similar tow capacity as a Cayenne.

If you've not yet purchased a trailer take a look at this:

Trailer For Sale

Price and options negotiable - I know this because it's my trailer.

Either way - good luck

Does it have to be 4 wheeled? Could it be 2 wheeled?

Or no wheels like the one mooty provides for his better half per his post?

I may be mistaken but isn't the 7045 slightly smaller than the normal 8045 that will fit a GT3

I think that surge brakes are no longer legal in most states. But I could be wrong.
Are you the same as that sponsor on that lotus forum link you provided?

The guy on the Lotus forum is selling the trailer for me.
Brakes are legal here in PA.
I believe most rental trailers have hydraulic brakes (surge) so they would have to be legal.
