That looks just incredible and I'm sure sounds just as incredible!! Must confess. I'm kind of ignorant about high end car audio , and am leaning toward a simpler solution. I'm thinking of just getting a great set of door speakers that have decent bass (no sub) and then just adding a high quality two channel amp that can be fed from the head unit. The music I listen too doesn't require thunderous bass. Would that work?

Three Wheelin'
Awesome install. Even with your hiccups you still got install done in a decent time frame. I sure it sounds awesome. I hope to get to hear it at another smokies or other event.

Matt, awesome post! The man card is yours for sure.
No way I'd venture into the wilderness you've just conquered.
Well done and thank you for posting.

Great work! Inspiring!
A silly question:
In the first video you say the dash openings are actually designed for the Burmeister system. Is there a quick and dirty upgrade to be had by just changing of the stock drivers with Burmeister (or others not requiring cutting or mods)?

I found it to be a great upgrade for $400. Not anywhere near what Matt is doing but worth it to me.

Awesome write-up work! I know it takes a ton of time to post all of those pics.

It's much, much better running it flat and untuned. I can't wait for Derek to come down and dial it in. You'll have to make a trip to listen to it when its done. The sub control will be here tomorrow. I'm flying him down from Boston in the next month or so.

Great idea! Well done.
Though, between all your videos, detailing, garage project, this stereo project, etc... How do you find time for work and family!?!? LOL.
Give up the secret!
Did Rob at Tweeter in KOP build your Civic?
